So many stories going on around people in their lives, and I enjoy making great pictures out of these moments. Who cares about posing when you have so much going on in real life? Life is what I shoot!

There are so many stories going on around people in their lives, and I enjoy making great pictures out of these moments. Maybe it's all about the hustle and bustle of life, or those quiescent and intimate moments; when being alone feels as if one is sitting on top of that great cliff with the wind whooshing by your presence, and the salty spray and mist coming from below, of sea water crashing on the ever changing rocky coastline! I seek those moments which are so unique and singular, which say so much about a person when she or he is in his or her most singular being. This sense of majesty is even more present and soulful when a person is in the arms of her other best half; when the longing soul finds rest and most of all finds its realization and fulfillment just by the mere fact of being in the arms of that one loved soul. Love has an unfailing habit of bringing out the best which anyone can offer; that raw emotion and excitement... when I am with a couple photographing their love, I am always left mesmerized - I can feel the electricity in the air, and I sense the tingling in my arms and when the eyes of the couple meet; that is, when that unique scent of love can be felt in the air around them. Such raw love is what makes the surrounding work so magnificently conjointly with the couple, which creates eye watering shows of emotion and purity which only the heart who loves can comprehend.

We first noticed Ian's work when browsing photographers based in Malta when planning our wedding. The natural style that seemed to capture so many emotions was perfect! Every time we have met with Ian or even had contact online, it has always been a smooth experience; Ian is quick to respond and immensely helpful. Before the wedding he helped explain, bit by bit, how he would be spending the day and what he would be focusing on as well as calming us down and reassuring us. I think one of the things I appreciated most about Ian's service was that he stayed til the party was over meaning that those mad moments at the end of a wedding weren't lost. Since the wedding Ian has been great in preparing the album and a canvas as well as arranging for it to be sent to England which has involved numerous emails back and forth. We really can't recommend Ian enough! Thanks for capturing our wedding. Marie and Daniele

We have chosen Ian to be our wedding photographer as we had seen some of his photos on his website and Facebook page and like the spontaneity and natural expressions he manages to capture.

We are very satisfied with the service - the pre-wedding and wedding photos were passed on to us in raw and edited forms shortly after. During our wedding we were very relaxed as he was taking photos without asking us to pose and he managed to capture priceless expressions which we'll surely treasure.

Highly recommended!

i had seen Ian Abdilla's excellent photographic skills across a good number of friends and acquaintances who shared them on Facebook, before i finally decided to approach the guy and request a quote for MY own wedding.
And i did this because i was thrilled by the colorful, picturesque and excruciating detail i noticed in the photos. "I want photos like these, in my wedding!", i remember myself telling Justine (now my wife).
Dealing with Ian Abdilla has been a very straight-forward process, without any misunderstanding nor much ado. Everything was presented to us in details without any beating about the bush.
And the results following our wedding: the photos? Out of this world ! Ian manages to catch MOMENTS: a tight hug here, an eye-watering smile there, moments so instant, spontaneous and short that usually not even ourselves remember to have lived them. If you want to remember the special moments of your wedding, particularly those which were, there is no one else better to recommend.
I invite you to check things out for yourself.
To say i am satisfied would be such an understatement.

John
